This year's KRAC Banquet was a triumph. The list of great meals that I have had becomes increasingly crowded by Dave's efforts-- last nights dinner was the best meal I've had this year. Here, for posterity and for the sake of driving this site's numbers up by drawing in the cuisine-obsessed, is the menu:
Shrimp Ravioli with Basil Cream Sauce
Maple BBQ Duck Breast on Blueberry Wild Rice Cakes
Red Pepper Flan
Kiwi-Lime Sorbet
Potato-Crusted Halibut with Wild Mushrooms, Truffle Vinaigrette, and Carrot
Reduction
Mocha Semifreddo.
And as good as that sounds, let me just say that it's even better when you take into account the company. If there are funnier people out there, I hope they are getting paid for it-- I was in tears.
