Let's say we were targeting a 1:56:09 half marathon pace. The week one workout would look like this: Saturday, six miles (or the Ridge-- I think that's harder); Tuesday, 4X400 (400s--HMP, minus 75 seconds, divided by 4-- in our example, that would be 1:56.75 pace); Wendsday, 4 miles tempo (HMP minus 15 seconds-- 8:37 pace-- pretty stiff-- more of a target for me, I'd say). That's not so bad, is it?
